Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur city tourA short run out to Putrajaya for the administrative city's architecture and lakeside setting, then back for a half-day city tour: the King's Palace, the National Monument, Independence Square and a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers. Evening free.

Genting Highlands and Batu CavesA full day up to Genting Highlands, stopping at Batu Caves on the way — the limestone shrine at the top of its long flight of steps. Then the cable car both ways up to the hilltop, for the attractions and the cool air. Back to Kuala Lumpur in the evening.
