Trending right now
The trips our desks are quoting most this season. Open one and you get the whole thing — every day of it, and the rate per head, before you speak to anybody.
How it actually works
Nobody should have to sit through a sales call just to learn what a holiday costs. So we put the plan and the price on the page, and you only talk to us when you have something to talk about.
Read the whole trip
Open any destination and the whole itinerary is on the page — every day, the route, the stay category, the meals. Nothing hidden behind a form you have to fill first.
See the rate before you ask
One figure, per head, on the minimum group stated. Not “starting from”, not “on request”, not a number that doubles once somebody rings you back. The rate we run the trip at.
Send us your dates
Dates and a headcount is all we need to start. Want an extra night, a different city to fly from, or somewhere that is not on this site at all? Write it in — that is what the blank sheet is for.
We come back in writing
Somebody who has been to the place checks what is genuinely open on your dates, then writes back with the final figure. Phone, mail or WhatsApp — your pick, and the written note is what counts.
Questions people actually ask
The honest answers, including the ones where the answer is "it depends".
Send the rough version. Even “Kerala, sometime in December, six of us, two are elderly” gives a planner something real to work from — far more useful than a blank form.
Open the plannerSo what is Explore Karo, exactly?
A travel company with planning desks in Siliguri and Bengaluru. We run a set of ready trips across India and abroad — each one with its full day-by-day plan and its rate per head published before you ask anyone anything — and we build trips from scratch for anywhere we don't list. Either way a destination expert confirms availability and sends the final figure in writing. Every trip we plan also includes an edited reel of your journey, a complimentary photoshoot and dining at handpicked local places.
Is this a fixed package, or can I really change everything?
Our trips run as ready packages — a fixed day-by-day plan and a fixed rate per head, on a minimum of four adults. That is the starting point, not the ceiling: add a night, swap a stay, start from a different city, and we requote it. And if you want something that isn't on the site at all, start from a blank sheet and name the place — we plan that too.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
Close, but we would rather be straight with you than sound clever. Every rate on this site is what we run that trip at — per head, on the minimum group stated, two sharing a room. It moves with season, availability and what the hotels and airlines do, so the figure that actually binds is the written quote a planner sends for your dates. If it has moved, we tell you why.
Can I travel solo? Will I get put in a group?
Solo works, and no — we will not quietly attach you to somebody else's coach party. Every trip here runs for your group alone. The one thing to know is that published rates assume two sharing a room, so a single room costs more; tell us it is just you and we will quote it properly rather than spring it on you later.
Does the rate cover flights and visa?
No. Every rate on this site is a land package — stays, transfers and the sightseeing on the day-by-day plan. Airfare, visa and travel insurance sit outside it, and a planner quotes those alongside so you see the two figures separately rather than one lump. The full written quote spells out exactly what each trip carries.
How soon will someone get back to me?
One working day, on whichever channel you used — mail, phone or WhatsApp. If a trip needs a permit or a seasonal check, we say so in the first reply rather than leave you waiting on it.
How do payments work?
Nothing on this site takes a payment. Once the plan is right, a planner sends a written confirmation setting out the deposit, the payment stages and the dates they fall on. Those differ from trip to trip, because they follow the hotels, operators and permit authorities involved — and you see all of it before you commit to anything.
And if I need to cancel or move my dates?
That depends on the specific hotels, flights and operators in your plan — a refundable boutique stay and a non-refundable early-bird fare behave very differently. So the applicable cancellation and date-change terms come to you in writing alongside your final quote, before you commit to anything.
Fresh off the planner

What our travellers say
What people said afterwards, in their own words — unedited, right down to the bit where they changed the dates twice.
Read more storiesWe had the destination fixed, but nothing else. Once we started moving things around, the whole trip came together pretty quickly.
We removed one place, added an extra night, and the itinerary just updated. Much easier than trying to coordinate everything ourselves.
Our group couldn't agree on what to do first 😂. Having everything day-wise made the discussion a lot easier.
I actually started with just a destination and a rough number of days. Didn't expect to have a proper plan this quickly.
We were travelling with the family, so everyone's preferences were different. Being able to adjust the plan before finalising it was really useful.
We wanted a slow, relaxed trip. It was nice being able to see the days clearly instead of trying to figure everything out from separate tabs.
We changed the number of nights twice 😅. The good part was seeing how the whole itinerary changed each time.
Sent the plan to our friends group and everyone started suggesting changes. Surprisingly, we actually ended up agreeing on one.
Usually I make a spreadsheet for every trip. This time I started with the planner and honestly didn't need half the spreadsheet.
We knew we wanted Meghalaya but had no idea how many days to spend where. The day-wise plan gave us a really good starting point.
The trip was still just an idea when we started. By the end, we had something we could actually share with everyone.
I liked that we could play around with the itinerary first. It made planning feel more like building the trip we wanted.

Two minutes with the planner and you'll have dates, a day-wise plan and a figure per head — the sort of thing you can drop into the family group and actually discuss.
